With the chair Lara we continue our successful collaboration with Stuhlfabrik Schnieder. This time – again a stackable chair – we concentrated on a slim appearance and low production costs.

A cross frame, flat and straight legs, standard components for back and seat… these three elements help being cost efficient. But nevertheless we were able to make an intriguing product out of the brief:

Details such as the contour of the backrest that points towards the edge of the rear legs, CNC-cutouts on the legs that serve functions like assuring stickability and connecting elements smoothly and a well proportioned overall appearance make Lara a product with character and appeal.
