This upholstered pouffe is a real masterpiece of craftsmanship. The covering is made out of eight identical parts, that are stitched together and pulled over an upholstered wooden frame.
The form of Karambola derives from a starfruit (also known as carambola). It blends from a star-shaped cross-section on the ground to a flat, ergonomic seating surface. The challenge was to realize a defined shape while maintaining comfort and the expected qualities of an upholstered piece of furniture.
