A chair drawn with a single stroke – Loom chair originates from a simple sketch: two ellipses are connected by a tangential arc. One could draw the line over and over again… one ellipse, then over the arc to the other and back again. And this is exactly what the 3D-printing robot does: the printhead follows the sketch over and over again until the chair is ready. 
The sketch is basically the cross section of the chair and results in a soft, cloud-like shape. The characteristic printing layers make the surface look like a yarn bobbin of carefully coiled yarn.
The small armchair is very ergonomic and offers due to its slim back a certain flexibility for even more comfort.
The collection consists of the chair and two sizes of side tables. Each piece features a hollow space that can be used to store books, blankets, etc.
