This adjustable light is inspired by martini glasses with the characteristic olive on a stick. The lampshade is attached to the stand laterally and can be oriented by „twisting the olive in the glass“. With just one hinge the light can be directed steplessly from vertically upwards to horizontally sidewards. The same lamp – just with a smaller base – can be designed to be a wall mounted lamp. It is perfectly useable as a bedside light.

Imagine a hotel where two lights are mounted on the right and on the left next to a bed. Both lamps are aligned to shine vertically downwards in the beginning and the guest can twist them to illuminate his / her book perfectly. So the wall mounted lamp can be directed anywhere between vertically downwards and straight forward. With the alignments in-between as a perfect reading light next to a bed.

The !oor version consists of a group of three lamps of different heights. The upmost lamp can shine vertically upwards while the others are limited by the stand and can only be moved to a certain angle.

No matter what typology, wall-, table-, or floorlight… one is not forced to see the martini glass in this product. In any status besides vertically upwards it is simply a clean, minimalistic and beautifully shaped light.
